Examines the revolutions that unfolded across the Atlantic World from the mid-18th to the mid-19th centuries, an era known as the 'Age of Revolutions.' Covers the American Revolution for independence from British rule, the French Revolution, the Haitian Revolution that overthrew French rule in Saint-Domingue, and the Latin America Revolutions that achieved independence from Spain. Focuses on the connections between those different revolutions, and on the experiences of women, people of African ancestries, and Native Americans.
