"I worked for an NGO in South Sudan for several years after college. The degree helped me obtain the position and also allowed me to have much needed knowledge to be successful there."

What advice would you give students in AAAS?

"Do all the readings and meet with your professors. There's so much interesting material to learn and your professors are a wealth of knowledge."
